1. Acceptance of Terms

By using RetirePlanAI.com or creating an account, you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms").

If you do not agree, do not use the site or services.

You must be 18 years or older to use RetirePlanAI.

2. Description of Service

RetirePlanAI provides an online retirement-planning and simulation tool that uses financial models and AI to help users explore "what-if" scenarios.

The information, projections, and calculations provided are for educational and entertainment purposes only.

RetirePlanAI does not provide financial, investment, tax, or legal advice of any kind.

The service may contain software bugs, calculation errors, or inaccuracies that could result in incorrect financial projections or recommendations. You should not rely on any information, projection, or output from RetirePlanAI for making actual financial decisions.

Past performance does not guarantee future results.

Always consult a qualified, licensed financial advisor before making any investment or retirement planning decisions.

RetirePlanAI may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time, with or without notice. We will not be liable for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the service.

3. Accounts and Eligibility

You must create an account to use some features. You agree to provide accurate information and keep your account secure.

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

RetirePlanAI uses Stripe to process payments.

We offer monthly and annual subscriptions, both with automatic renewal unless you cancel before the next billing date.

A free plan is available without a credit card. The free plan includes limited features; full access requires selecting a paid plan.

All payments are non-refundable.

If you cancel, your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period.

We do not guarantee data preservation after cancellation or account closure.

5. Data and Privacy

We collect and store limited personal information, including name, email, age, and optional financial data (portfolio, marital status, and tax-filing status).

We also store chat logs to improve our service but do not use them to train AI models.

6. Support Access and Account Assistance

To diagnose issues, troubleshoot bugs, and provide customer support, authorized RetirePlanAI personnel may access your account on your behalf. This may include viewing your account settings, financial data, projections, and other information you have entered into the service.

We limit this access to authorized personnel who have a legitimate support or operational need.

By using RetirePlanAI, you consent to this limited access solely for the purposes of providing support, resolving technical issues, and ensuring the proper functioning of the service.

We will never use support access to modify your data without your knowledge or consent, except as necessary to resolve a reported issue at your request.

7. AI and Informational Disclaimer

The AI Retirement Coach and all retirement projections are provided for entertainment and educational purposes only.

The AI may produce incorrect, incomplete, misleading, or inaccurate information. The underlying software, algorithms, and financial models may contain bugs, errors, or flaws that result in inaccurate retirement projections, incorrect tax calculations, or faulty financial recommendations.

This is not financial advice. Do not make any financial, investment, or retirement decisions based on information from RetirePlanAI without first consulting a qualified, licensed financial advisor.

You use RetirePlanAI entirely at your own risk. Always independently verify any results and consult appropriate professionals before taking any action.

8. AI Conversation Usage Limits

Access to the AI Retirement Coach feature is subject to usage limits based on your subscription tier, as follows:

  • Free Plan: Limited to five (5) AI conversations total.
  • Paid Plans: Subject to conversation limits based on your subscription tier, which reset each billing period.

Each message exchange between you and the AI Retirement Coach constitutes one (1) conversation. RetirePlanAI reserves the sole and absolute discretion to define, calculate, and monitor what constitutes a "conversation" for purposes of these limits.

Usage limits reset monthly for paid subscriptions on the first day of each billing period. Unused conversations do not roll over to subsequent billing periods and have no cash value. No refunds, credits, or extensions will be provided for unused conversations.

If you exceed your plan's conversation limit, you will be unable to access the AI Retirement Coach until your limit resets or you upgrade to a higher-tier plan. RetirePlanAI reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to suspend, limit, or terminate access to the AI Retirement Coach or your account entirely if we determine, in our reasonable judgment, that you have engaged in abusive, excessive, automated, or unauthorized use of the feature.

We reserve the right to modify conversation limits at any time, with or without notice, including but not limited to changes due to operational requirements, service improvements, or pricing adjustments. Continued use of the service after any such modification constitutes acceptance of the revised limits.

We make no guarantee that the AI Retirement Coach will be available at all times or that conversation limits will remain unchanged. Temporary outages, maintenance, or service interruptions do not entitle you to additional conversations or any form of compensation.

9. Acceptable Use

You agree to use RetirePlanAI only for lawful, personal, and non-commercial purposes and in accordance with these Terms.

You may not:

  • Access, copy, or collect data from the site or service using automated means such as bots, spiders, scrapers, crawlers, or similar technologies.
  • Use, reproduce, or distribute any part of the website, models, or AI outputs for commercial purposes without our written consent.
  • Interfere with, damage, or disrupt any server, network, or security feature related to the service.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to user accounts, systems, or data.
  • Use the AI Retirement Coach or any part of the service to generate, transmit, or promote material that is illegal, fraudulent, harmful, defamatory, abusive, or otherwise objectionable.
  • Use the service to violate any law, regulation, or third-party right, including intellectual-property, privacy, and financial-advice regulations.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or modify the underlying software or models.

We may suspend or terminate your account or access to the service at any time if we believe you have violated these rules.

10. Intellectual Property

All software, text, graphics, logos, and other content on RetirePlanAI are the property of Jericho Software or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual-property laws.

We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the service for your own lawful, personal purposes.

You may not copy, distribute, modify, create derivative works, or publicly display any part of the service without our written permission.

11. Export Compliance

You agree not to use, export, or re-export the service in violation of any applicable export laws or regulations, including those of the United States.

You also agree not to make the service available to anyone located in a jurisdiction subject to comprehensive U.S. sanctions.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the service at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms, for non-payment, or for operational or technical reasons.

Upon termination, your right to use the service stops immediately.

Sections relating to No Warranty, Limitation of Liability, Arbitration, and Intellectual Property will survive termination.

13. No Warranty

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" FOR ENTERTAINMENT AND EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY.

JERICHO SOFTWARE, DBA RETIREPLANAI, MAKES NO WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR ACCURACY OF FINANCIAL CALCULATIONS.

WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE AVAILABLE AT ANY PARTICULAR TIME OR THAT ACCESS WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE, OR THAT ANY INFORMATION, PROJECTIONS, CALCULATIONS, OR RECOMMENDATIONS PROVIDED ARE ACCURATE, RELIABLE, OR FREE FROM BUGS OR ERRORS.

WE EXPRESSLY DISCLAIM ANY WARRANTY THAT THE FINANCIAL PROJECTIONS, RETIREMENT CALCULATIONS, OR AI-GENERATED ADVICE ARE SUITABLE FOR YOUR ACTUAL FINANCIAL PLANNING OR DECISION-MAKING.

14. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, JERICHO SOFTWARE, DBA RETIREPLANAI, AND ITS OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, OR CONTRACTORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS OR DATA, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO RETIREPLANAI DURING THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE.

15. Arbitration and Governing Law

These Terms and any disputes arising under them are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

Any dispute or claim will be resolved by binding arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association, conducted in Alameda County, California.

You agree to waive any right to a jury trial or to participate in a class action.

16. Promotional and Early Access Programs

From time to time, RetirePlanAI may offer limited promotions such as Founders Circle, beta programs, or extended trials that provide temporary access to paid features.

Eligibility, duration, and included features are determined solely by RetirePlanAI and may change or end at any time without notice.

Participation in any promotional program does not guarantee continued access after the promotional period expires.

At the end of a promotion, standard plan pricing and terms will apply unless otherwise stated.

17. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.

The "Effective Date" above reflects the latest version.

If you continue using RetirePlanAI after changes are posted, you accept the revised Terms.
